How The CARBC Partnership Works.
When CARBC churches insure with Brotherhood Mutual through ChurchWest, the whole association benefits. The partnership provides funds that support CARBC ministries across California.
A Program For The Association
The CARBC participates in Brotherhood Mutual's Ministry Partnership Program, overseen by ChurchWest in Redlands, CA.
Funds For CARBC Ministries
The program provides the association with funds used for its ministries, based on the claims loss ratio of CARBC churches insured with Brotherhood Mutual.
Based On The Whole Association
The amount the association can receive is based on the number of churches in the CARBC, not the number insured with Brotherhood Mutual.

AB 506 Compliance
Is Your Ministry AB 506 Compliant?
California law now holds youth-serving organizations responsible for protecting the children in their care. For most CARBC churches, compliance comes down to three requirements.
Live Scan Background Checks
DOJ fingerprint checks for all employees and regular volunteers who work with youth. Our Live Scan guide covers how to get them done.
Mandated Reporter Training
Child-abuse recognition and reporting training for all staff and volunteers who work with youth. Read more on mandated reporter training.
Written Child-Safety Plan
Written policies and procedures to prevent, respond to, and report abuse. Read more on AB 506.

FAQ
Questions Churches Ask.
Does participating cost our church anything?
There is no separate fee to take part. Your church simply pays for its own coverage, and premiums depend on your ministry's size, property, and programs. A quote is the quickest way to see real numbers for your congregation.
Request a quote →We already have coverage with another carrier. Can we still get a quote?
Yes. You can request a quote at any time, whatever your renewal date. Many churches compare options well before renewal so they can make an unhurried decision.
What kinds of coverage can ChurchWest arrange?
Property, liability, and ministry-specific protection, shaped to your programs and the way your church serves its community.
