The Pregnant Workers Fairness Act (PWFA) takes effect June 27, 2023, and requires employers to provide reasonable accommodations for pregnant workers with limitations related to pregnancy, childbirth, or related medical conditions.

The Providing Urgent Maternal Protections for Nursing Mothers Act (PUMP Act) is now in effect. The printable poster is a revised version of the Federal Labor Standards Act (FLSA) required legal posting. To comply with the posting requirement, simply post it over or on top of the FLSA poster you currently display. For more info on the provisions of the PUMP Act, click here
Already have a 2023 Ministry Workplace Poster from ChurchWest? We recommend taking a sharpie to the section labeled ‘Employee Rights Under the Fair Labor Standards Act’ in the top left corner of your poster. After crossing out the old verbiage, you’ll need to post the updated FLSA posting, that now includes the PUMP Act verbiage, next to your workplace poster.
