Sam is a pastor’s kid whose first job out of college, in 1994, was as a life agent with New York Life. Eventually making a 12 year detour into mortgage-banking, and achieving an MBA degree from USC’s Marshall School of Business, Sam found his way back into the insurance world again: this time combining his years of business experience together with his roots in ministry.
He and his family live in Orange County, California. He serves as an elder, leads a small group, and has helped to found and currently leads a non-profit ministry for his local church that feeds over 600 families a month.
Sam views his role with ChurchWest as a great opportunity to increase the stewardship of the ministries he serves, and to better equip them through the agency’s wealth of ministry-specific resources.
